Neil Arthur De Luca

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Marsha De Luca; his son Brian De Luca (spouse Emily De Luca); and daughter Katherine Lippert (spouse Joshua Lippert); his grandchildren Nicholas De Luca, Benjamin De Luca, Alexander De Luca, Caroline De Luca, William Lippert, and Elizabeth Lippert; as well as his siblings Helene Napolitano, James De Luca, and Robert De Luca.

Neil served in the Air Force, was a passionate educator, a brilliant storyteller, and a life-long learner. He was a dedicated husband and father, and loved playing with his grandchildren. He was a legendary social studies teacher in Sachem Central school district, Ronkonkoma New York, who was loved by his students. In his free time he loved spending time outdoors, camping with his family, listening to the Rolling Stones, and watching football and boxing.

A Celebration of Neil's Life will be held at 2 pm on Monday, February 18, 2019, at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va., 23229 with a reception to follow.
