Nu Tang Luu

Nu was born in Saigon, Vietnam on April 23, 1949 to Son Tang and Ai Le. In 1985, Nu strived for a better life with her family by moving to Richmond, VA.

Over her time in Richmond, Nu worked at The Dominion Club, Lakewood Manor, The Place at Innsbrook, and Henrico County Public Schools.

Nu was an active member of Chua Hue Quang temple in Henrico and spent every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday there volunteering. In addition to her spiritual endeavors, Nu loved spending time with her family, especially her two sons who were the light of her life. Other hobbies included going to the gym and walking around her neighborhood, traveling abroad, and trying different regional cuisines. In addition, she enjoyed Chinese opera and collecting souvenirs.

Nu was preceded in death by her parents; brother Tang Sieu Hung, and sister Tang Hao;

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Noan Luu; sons Bieu Luu (Nerice) and Ronald Luu; Sisters Tang Ngoc Lien, Tang My Que, Tang My Yen (To Quoc Khuong), Tang My Thu and Lien Tang Santiago.

Visitation for Nu will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday from

10:00am - 1:30pm at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Rd. Richmond, VA 23229. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chua Hue Quang Temple, 8535 Hungary Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
