She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Sally Phelps. Patricia worked as a legal secretary for Williams Mullens. She graduated from Varina High School and attended Mars Hill. Patricia was a member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church.
Patricia was a member of the Friday Morning Breakfast Club and sang in the 8th Day and the Grove Avenue Choir. She had a love of everything angels and Christmas. Patricia will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Richard Coley; children, Rich Coley (Andrea) and Kara Topping (Donnie); grandchildren, Ashley Cerosky (Kevin), Brooke Jennett (John), Warren Coley, Natalie Coley and Virginia Coley; sister, Betty Powell (T.A.); and numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA. 23229, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 12 p.m. Interment will be private.
