A lifelong Richmonder, Pat was beloved in many communities and cherished her family and friends in the city. She was an avid UVA fan, spending her Saturdays in the Fall cheering for the Hoos in Scott Stadium. Her greatest pleasures and hobbies included going to the beach, crocheting, baking, biking and spending time with her family.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Mary Lou Carter. She is survived and missed by her husband of 24 years, Paul, son Kyle, sister Susan, brother Mike (Jennifer), nieces and nephews Colleen, Shane, Zach and Gil, and many other beloved family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 5-8 PM at Woody’s Funeral Home at 1771 N Parham Rd, Richmond, VA 23229. Pat was an active member and frequent volunteer at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, where her funeral service will be held Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM at 9155 Hungary Rd, Henrico, VA 23294.
