MALONE, Ralph G., 92, of Henrico, died May 31, 2014, of complications from a fall. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jann Malone Steele and Mike Steele, both of Richmond; sister-in-law Sue Malone of Gaithersburg, Md.; niece Sara Stewart of Chantilly, Va., nephew Greg Malone of Laurel, Md., and their spouses and children. His wife, Jane Abbott Malone, and brother, Henry Malone, died in 1985. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army’s Signal Intelligence Service in the European theater. He spent much of his life in New Orleans as an insurance agent. In 1993 he moved here to Lakewood Manor, where he received outstanding care. Burial will be private.
