Born 6/9/1932 in Dillwyn, VA to Theresa Swecker Roberts and Fred National Roberts. She attended Buckingham High School and graduated in 1949. She went on to work for General Electric as a secretary from 1950-1970. Married to Charles Mayo Stinson from 11/29/1952 until his death 3/18/1996. She then married Charles Monroe McMillan until his death 8/18/1999. She is survived by her son Tim and grandson Daren.
Ruby enjoyed knitting, being involved in women’s ministries and traveling. She lived to love her grandson, always willing to help others in need and had a deep love of the Lord. A visitation for Ruby will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Henry W. Woody Inc, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:40 PM at West End Assembly of God, 401 N Parham Rd, Richmond, VA 23229. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Westhampton Memorial & Cremation Park, 10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238.
