Ruth Estelle Greene

Ruth Estelle (Crisp) Greene, 83 of Henrico died March 22, 2013. She was born to the late Hubert and Lillie Crisp on December 2, 1928. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.. She had a passion for Quilting, Sewing & Crafting. She had an eye for creativity. She volunteered until her death for Bon Secours, knitting baby caps. She served on the interfaith council for several years.

Estelle was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years Raymond Wyley Greene. She is survived by her children; Joseph M Greene, Sr. (Norma), R. Douglas Greene (Karen), Debra L. Greene Shumaker (Thomas), Hubert H. Greene (Doreen). There are ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March, 25, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, VA 23229 and services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2500 Pump Rd, Richmond, VA 23233. with interment following at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
