Sandra was born in Richmond and grew up in Lakeside. She was a member of the first class to graduate from the new Hermitage High School in 1972. She graduated from Madison College in 1976 with a degree in accounting. After college she went to work for Virginia Electric and Power Company in the accounting department. Sandra enjoyed reading, taking walks, camping and watching old movies. She loved spending time reading, coloring, playing games, or working puzzles with her grandchildren. There will be a visitation at the Woody Funeral Home on Parham Road on Monday, April 15 from 4 until 6. The funeral service will be at 11:00 on Tuesday, April 16 at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.
