

She dedicated many years of her life to her work at Pulmonary Associates of Richmond, where she was admired for her dedication, reliability, and the genuine care she showed to both patients and colleagues. Her commitment to helping others and her strong work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with.
Outside of her professional life, she created a beautiful and fulfilling life with her husband, Lewis Aubrey Southworth Jr., built on love, laughter, and devotion. Their bond was one of deep friendship and enduring partnership.
She will be remembered for her gentle heart, quiet strength, and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence. Her legacy lives on in the memories shared with her family and friends, and in the lives she touched every single day.
Sandra had a deep appreciation of arts and crafting. She was an extraordinary knitter and loved sharing her creations with friends and family.
She is survived by her loving family, including husband Lewis Southworth Jr, mother Sharon Smith, children; Kristopher Frazier, Joshua, Adam and Rachel Southworth, sister Jennifer (David) Hamilton and niece Elizabeth. She is also survived by grandchildren Cameran, Mya, Jaxon, Leah, and Jolene.
Sandra was preceded in death by father Charles E. (Gene) Smith Jr and grandparents Harold and Jean Plummer and Charles E. (Smitty) and Madeline Smith.
Her memory will forever be cherished and her love forever felt.
A visitation for Sandra will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Henry W. Woody Inc, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229.
