Steve Ray Snead

Steve Ray Snead, 56 of Richmond went home to rest eternally with our heavenly father on January 10, 2012. He was born to the late Norman and Gracie Snead. He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend Patricia S. Snead. He is also survived by his son Travis Snead (Heather) and his daughter Jennifer Bilyeu (Brian) plus three grandsons; Tyler Snead, Landon Bilyeu, and Preston Snead, and one brother Wallace Snead (Brenda).

Steve was a road building project Superintendent for over 30 years where he never met a stranger and developed many lifelong relationships. He was an avid deer hunter and one of the Dallas Cowboys' greatest fans. We would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and staff members of St. Mary's Hospital who guided and comforted us though this past year.

Due to Steve's giving heart we are asking that you find someone in need and do something to help them in lieu of flowers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Woody Funeral Home 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, VA. 23229.
