GOODMAN, Timothy Reid, 48, Richmond. On March 21, 2016, Reid accepted the inevitable finale of death from pancreatic cancer with grace, courage, and gratitude for his care from the Palliative Care Unit of VCU/MCV Hospital.
Professionally, Reid was an excellent cook whose recipe for life had the love of friends and family as the main ingredient. His mother, Patricia C. Goodman, predeceased him by 20 years, but early on set the standard for the kitchen and life. Surviving are his father, Timothy C. Goodman; brother, Andrew A. Goodman; uncle and aunt, James K. Cluverius and Dorothy B. Cluverius; aunts, Lynne G. Luttrell and Judith M. Goodman; nine cousins, two of whom, Jake Cluverius and Katharine Boak, were very supportive.
A Memorial Celebration will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26 at Woody Funeral Home-Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Va. 23229.
