Violet Osborne Swann

Violet O. Swann passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Swann and her daughter, Mary Katheryne Swann-Trainor. She is survived by her son, James E. “Buddy” Swann Jr and his wife Sherry; and her son-in-law James Trainor. Mrs. Swann and her late husband Jimmy are remembered as owners and operators of Art Guild Inc, a long time printing and graphic arts business in Richmond. Violet enjoyed working with her customers and employees. Her family and home were very important to her. She loved interior decorating, gardening, flower arranging, and travel. Violet was a member of River Road Methodist Church for over 50 years. The family will receive friends from 12pm-1pm on Friday, May 20, 2022 at River Road United Methodist Church, 8800 River Rd. A Service will be held at 1pm with a luncheon immediately following. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Gardens at 3pm.
