Walburga Anna Arthur 85, of Richmond, Va., passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Wayne Arthur; and her parents, Walburga Keiss and Franz Strobel. Burgi is survived by her brother, Robert Strobel; her daughter, Carolyn Arthur; and her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Barbara Arthur; her grandchildren, Michelle Hall (Aaron), Tracy King (Steve), Alex Arthur and Elizabeth Glass; and three great-grandchildren, Kennedy Hall, Anderson Hall and Wesley King.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25, at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. from 5 to 8 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 26 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
