Warren Douglas White

Warren Douglas White, our hearts are saddened by the passing of our loved one; he was born March 20, 1940, passed October 2, 2018. He lived in Richmond, Va., where he was owner of Suburban Remodeling Corporation for 49 years, also a part-owner of Urbanna Lumber Company and Varina Investments. He was an avid golfer and a member of Willow Oaks Country Club for 42 years. He also loved the river, where he had a home in Urbanna, Va. Warren was preceded in death by his father and mother, James C. and Elsie P. White; stepson, Gene Sawyer. He is survived by his wife, Maria S. White; stepdaughters, Tammy and Sallie Sawyer, Kimberly Kilcomons; stepson, Dwayne Sawyer; four step-grandsons, four stepgranddaughters, three stepgreat-granddaughters; two brothers, Robert White of Rockville, Va. and Ernest White of Washington, D.C.; sister, Marie Lawrence of Colonial Heights, Va. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
