DURHAM, Willian E. (Bill), 89, of Henrico went to be with the Lord and his wife Dorothy of 61 years Friday, March 13, 2015. Bill is survived by his son, C. Allen Durham, of Henrico. Bill was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, a retired employee of RF&P railroad. Bill was a writer, publisher and was asked to write for special personal events of friends and family where ever he lived. Bill was a veteran of the US Navy having served on the USS Kraken. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Funeral service with military honors will be held in the chapel at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park Mausoleum, 11220 Nuckols Rd., Glen Allen, Va., 23059, at 2pm Wednesday March 18.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to charity of donor’s choice.
