He served in the Army as a Sergeant during the Korean conflict. William was retired from Bell Telephone (now Verizon) after 41 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Stillman; and a granddaughter, Katie Stillman.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Naomi Fox, sons, Jimmy and Billy (Diane); brother, Jim; and son-in-law, Ron Stillman.
The family wishes to express gratitude for the kindness and attentive care provided by the staff of Discovery Village and Suncrest Hospice.
Services and interment will be private.
