

Ann was born on March 31, 1948 in Missouri to Chester Charles Graves and Willie Fae Foster Graves. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, her Master’s from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas and later her PhD in Literature from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She worked in many different professions and industries, including Texas Instruments, teaching at the college level, and finally working in the insurance business for Blue Cross.
Ann had many hobbies and talents, including reading, quilting, sewing, knitting and traveling. She was active in her church, where she played the organ. She also enjoyed her two precious dogs, Lacy and Abby.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 31 years Henry Weissenborn, and her son Charles.
She is survived by her brothers, Van Graves (Judy), Mark Graves (Susie) and Glenn Graves (Cindy); stepchildren, Henry Weissenborn, Jr. (Kim), Liz Henry (Dwayne), Karen Jones and Scott Weissenborn (Teri); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at Parkway Hills United Methodist Church at 148 Highland Colony Parkway, Madison, MS 39110. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a graveside service to follow at Parkway Hills United Methodist Columbarium.
