Ben Phillips

Ben was born in Tylertown, MS on September 30, 1949 to Nell and James Phillips. He attended Salem High School and SWCC.

Ben married Janiece Wray and together they had 2 children, Shelley Egan and Lynsey Summerlin. Ben worked as a construction builder and enjoyed spending time with family hunting and fishing. He was also a proud member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, as having served in the United States Navy.

Ben is survived by his wife, Janiece Phillips, children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy Phillips.

Family and friends will gather at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS on Saturday, March 30, 2019 for visitation at 12:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment with military honors will be held at Parkway Memorial Cemetery immediately following the service.
