He was beloved by his family, friends, and classmates at Kosciusko High School and Mississippi State University. Joe was a southern gentleman that brought much joy and laughter to all. He was a true MSU Bulldog and left this earth pleased that his Bulldogs were ranked #1 in the nation.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marky Thomas Triplett, and his son, Mark Thomas Triplett. Joe is survived by his sons, Joseph Mark Triplett and Andrew Mickens Triplett; daughter, Mary Triplett Buchanan; brother, Jack Triplett; sister, Mary Nell Weeks; and two grandchildren, Mollie McMahen Buchanan and Curtis Allen “Tripp” Buchanan, III.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, November 10, 2014 at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS.
