Bobby and I were classmates at Poplar Springs Elementary and was one of the nicest guys in our class. To die at 66 is too young and I was so sorry to see his obituary in the Clarion-Ledger this morning. He is to be commended by the way he handled his deafness, but he did it well. He was very well liked by all who knew him.

Bobby and I attended Poplar Springs Elementary School together and was sorry to hear of his death. He was always such a great guy and we lost touch around junior high school when he transferred to Jackson.

To the family of Daniel Brewer: I am so sorry to hear about the death of Daniel. May you find these words comforting found at Isaiah 35:5,6: At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped." This is what God promises to do for him in his new word.

God is near to those that are broken at heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. God will sustain you and help you to endure.

My husband and I met him at softball games in long time ago. he was smart, nice and cheerful to deafies and hearing ppl. Now he is no suffers in bad health and be with angels in heaven.  Pray for his families....

I remember Bobby from our boyhoods in Meridian when we were both close friends of Sambo Mockbee.  Bobby was a wonderful boy--kind, funny, full of energy, and considerate of others.

I got to know Bobby while working at McRae's back in the late 80's. Bobby was dedicated to his work but he never let life pass him by. On to the next level now my old friend.

I worked with Bobby at McRaes for over a decade. He was a hard worker and always had a smile on his face which made you put one on yours. A true Mississippi State Fan. Bobby, you will always be thought of...and remembered.
