R. Doris Moore Graham passed away at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland on June 17, 2015, the day ordained for her by the Lord. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, June 19 at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Jackson, MS
Doris was born in Cohay, MS on January 3, 1924. She graduated from Millsaps College with a degree in Education. She was a homemaker, teacher, member of Common Cause and active in the Democratic Party. She was a member of Northminster Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, J.C. and Stella Moore, her husband of 32 years, Ray B. Graham, and her sister, Marguerite Smith. She is survived by her children, Darrell Graham, Susan Boat (Ron), Kathryn Merkle (Mark), twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and her nieces and nephew.
