

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Frances Landrum Daily, who died peacefully on July 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Frances faced her diagnosis with incredible strength, grace, and an unwavering spirit. Her resilience in the face of adversity inspired everyone who knew her. Even on the most difficult days, Frances found ways to share laughter, warmth, and love with those around her.
Born on May 1, 1970, in Columbus, MS, Frances attended Heritage Academy and the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of the Tri Delta sorority and earned a B.A. in Business. While at Ole Miss, Frances met her future husband, Patrick Daily, whom she married June 10, 1995. She worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for many years, during Patrick’s medical residency in Urology, when they lived in Charleston, SC. The family moved to Jackson, which they have called home since 2004. While there, Frances co-owned and was an instructor at the Pilates for Life studio in Flowood, MS.
She lived a life full of compassion, generosity, and purpose. Frances touched the lives of many. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, and her kindness left an enduring impact. She found joy in flower arranging, playing tennis, Pilates, walking, travelling, and snow skiing with family and friends. Frances was the mother of two sons whom she adored and enjoyed watching play sports, attending musical performances, and participating in high school activities as they were growing up.
Frances is survived by her husband, Patrick Parker Daily of Jackson, MS, her sons, Parker Daily (Pate) of Birmingham, AL, and Preston Daily of Jackson, MS. She is also survived by her brother Jim Landrum (LeAnne) of Frisco, TX, Heather Daily McCraney (Tad) of Jackson, MS, Corbin Daily (Lori) of Tulsa, OK, Laura Becca Daily of Jackson, MS, Anita and Pete Daily of Jackson, MS, Barney Jacks of Jackson, MS, and many nieces and nephews, Catherine Landrum, Griffin Landrum, Rachel Landrum, Gracie McCraney Pratt (Andrew), Tanner McCraney, Mimi McCraney, Kate Daily, and Gavin Daily.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Landrum-Jacks, and her father James Terrell Landrum of Columbus, MS.
A service to celebrate Frances’ life will be held on July 29, 2025, at St. James’ Episcopal Church, 3921 Oak Ridge Drive, Jackson, MS, with a visitation from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and a memorial service immediately following.

Frances will be deeply missed, but her legacy of courage, compassion, and vibrant spirit will live on in all who knew her.
