Jan was born January 29th, 1952 and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Lucy Taylor.
She was a graduate of Mississippi College and was a retired teacher of Madison Avenue Elementary school.
She is survived by her husband Kent, son Jason, sister Pamela Taylor, brothers in law Jon and David Keary, numerous cousins and many very special friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Bobby Graham for his care and compassion while treating Jan during her illness.
A visitation will be held at Christ United Methodist Church on Tuesday, June 24 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service.
A private family graveside service will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Mississippi Animal Rescue League.
