

Born September 9, 1933 in Waterloo, IA, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 after a brief illness at the VA state home in Kosciusko, MS.
John grew up in Nashville, where he graduated high school and later met his wife, Teresa. He joined the army during the Korean war and was stationed at Ft. Eustis, VA. After his service in the army, they moved to Memphis where he graduated from Memphis Business Academy. John started his career in the housewares business and later took a position in Jackson, MS as Operations Manager for over 30 years. From there he became National Sales Manager for Morgan Plastics in California, where he traveled the country. He excelled in his career until he retired.
John was a devout catholic, joining St. Therese’s church when they moved to Jackson in 1967. He made many friends throughout the years and was well liked by all. His biggest love in life was his family, always there throughout the years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening around the house.
John is survived by his children, Betty and Joe Weston of Crystal Springs, Robert Bradshaw of Milton, FL, Steve and Ruth Bradshaw of Ponder, TX, James Bradshaw of Madison, and Mark Bradshaw of Jackson; grandchildren, John and Brandi Weston of Utica, Chris Weston of Whitfield, Angela Ashley of Terry, Sara and Rob Vigil of Pensacola, FL, Adam and Mackenzie Bradshaw of Pensacola, FL, Daniel and Nora Bradshaw of Irving, TX, David Bradshaw of Denton, TX, and Keith and Carla Bradshaw of Madison; step grandchildren, Daniel Coulter of New Orleans, LA and Matt Coulter of Madison; sister, De Ann Tompkins of Land-O-Lakes, FL, as well as numerous great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa; daughter in law, Christy; and grandson, James Bradshaw, Jr.
Donations may be made to St. Therese’s Catholic Church or the Benedictine Sisters in Clyde, MO.
A visitation for John will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 9:30 AM at St Therese Catholic Church, 329 W McDowell Rd, Jackson, MS 39204, followed by funeral mass at 10:00AM. Graveside service will follow Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park-South, 430 McCluer Rd, Jackson, MS 39212.
