Born in Bath, NY to Joseph and Mary Frances (Smart) Lusteck, Joe moved to Tucson, AZ as a young boy where he spent his formative years. He received advanced degrees from the University of Arizona in Geography and Urban Planning and worked as a city planner in both Arizona and Mississippi. He opened his own firm in Jackson, MS, Joseph A. Lusteck and Assoc., which he ran for 35 years.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Lloyd Elizabeth “Happy” (Deddens) Lusteck, and daughter, Kathleen Allison. He is survived by his 3 children, Jay and Rob Lusteck, and Christine Pate, and his 3 grandchildren, Joey, Cody, and Shelby Lusteck.
A visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. (1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, MS 39157), followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
