Lisa Berryhill

Lisa Ann Berryhill, 56, passed away March 4, 2014 at her home in Jackson, MS. Lisa was born September 21, 1957 to Alvin and Barbara Thompson. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Richards Catholic Church and resident of Jackson. Lisa was the sister and friend that one always wanted in their corner and she was ready and able at any moment to be there. She had many gifts but the one that is surely to leave the biggest void will be her quick wit and sense of humor. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Lisa was a graduate of Jackson Prep and attended the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. At the University, she met and married the love of her life Bobby Berryhill in 1977. The proud mother of three beautiful daughters; Lisa loved and cherished each of them with every ounce of her being. In recent years she was deemed “GiGi” by her two granddaughters who filled her heart and life with new joy and excitement.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, Husband, daughters; Bonnie Tyrone, Husband Blaine and their daughters Reese and Stella, Jenny Berryhill and Leslie Berryhill; sisters, Kim Besselievre and husband Scott, Kathy Ward and Husband Greg, Amy Davidson; brothers, Todd Thompson and Richard Thompson and wife Roxie. In addition to her loving family she was blessed with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Visitation held Friday, March 7, 2014 from 5:00pm till 7:00pm at Wright and Ferguson on Highland Colony. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Richards Catholic Church in Jackson with visitation starting at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
