

Marguerite Lusk Andrews of Jackson, Mississippi, died September 3, 2018 in Jackson, Mississippi. Marguerite was born in Cleveland, Mississippi on June 20, 1923 to Flora Carver Lusk and Morris Lusk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Flora Carver Lusk; her husband, Chadbourne A. Andrews, Jr.; and her sister, Mrs. J. Y. Salley (Grace) of Lynn, Mississippi. She is survived by her sister n law, Mrs. R. F. Pittman (Dada) of Tampa, Florida and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her adopted family who visited her weekly in Lakeland Nursing Home: Ed and Mary Evelyn Thomas, Richard Johnson and Judy Watts.
Marguerite graduated from Indianola High School and attended Sunflower Junior College and Memphis School of Commerce. She met the love of her life, Chad, and they were married for forty three years. She worked for several real estate companies and for the Mississippi Federal Credit union. She was a faithful member for many years of St. Richard Catholic Church and Concordia Luncheon Club and many social and business organizations.
Services will be held Parkway Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland at 2:00pm Thursday, September 6, 2018. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Richard Catholic Church, 1242 Lynwood Dr., Jackson, MS 39206 or to Living Services, P.O. Box 275, Madison, MS 39130. Living Services provides varied personal financial and business services for senior citizens and cared for Marguerite in her last years.
