

Formerly of Jackson, MS, she was a loving mother and grandmother. Her devotion to her faith was admired by all who knew her. Her strength and determination in all that she did was an outstanding example of truly living life to the fullest.
She served as a nurse at the VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS for over 30 years. Her compassion andloving, nurturing manner will be missed, but will live on in the memory of all who knew her.
She was precededin death by her husband, Bernice Wilson Kennedy; her parents, Joseph and Lucy Kraft; her brothers, Paul, John, and Leo Kraft; and her sisters, Margaret Addkison, Rosalie Addkison, and Frances Kraft.
She is survived by her four children Jo Anne (Mike) Monette, KatherineCarrere, Kevin (Janet) Kennedy, and Andy (Shawn)Kennedy. She has five grandchildren Claire Monette, Megan Monette, Michael Monette, Lauren Kennedy, and Emma Lovely. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all of the staff at Mary Queen of Angels for their love and care.
Funeral services wiil be held 11:00am Saturday December 11, 2010 at Saint Richard Catholic Church with Visitation Friday December 10, 2010 from 5:00pm till 7:00pm at the Church. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Wright & Ferguson Funeral home Highland Colony is in charge of arrangements.
