Patricia Holmes Hines

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, William T. Holmes, Sr., and brothers, Bailey Anderson and Alan Anderson.

Survivors include: husband Billy M. Hines, her children, William T. Holmes, Jr (Trisha Holmes), Paige Dennis (Randy Dennis) and Stacie Maize (Trent Maize) and her grandchildren, Abigail and Delaney Dennis and Henry Holmes, and by her siblings,

Thomas Anderson, Debbie Jacobson, Samuel Anderson, and Reba Williamson and many nieces, nephews and cousins and her special Aunt Bee Slater.

Pat has served in the real estate/mortgage business for over 30 years. She has served in various capacities on the Women’s Council of Realtors and as a member and director of the Mortgage Bankers Association. She also lectured on mortgage/real estate at Hinds Community College. She was recently employed at Crye-Leike Realty.

Pat has also been a part of the Xi Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 30 years and served many community services through this organization which she was president. Other community activities included Mississippi Diabetes Foundation, Welcome Neighbor of Jackson Country Club, the Jackson Yacht Club and a member of St. Marks United Methodist in Flowood, MS.. She loved to travel and lived life to the fullest.

She was a devoted mother and loved her family and friends with all her heart. Visitation will be held at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on Sunday,January 1, 2012 from 3-5 PM. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 2 at Wright and Ferguson Chapel at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Lakewood Cemetery.
