Preston Christopher Lind

Preston Christopher Lind, 23, of Madison, Mississippi passed away Thursday, May 5th at his home in Madison County. Visitation is Monday, May 9th from 1-3 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi with services to follow at 3 p.m.

Preston Christopher Lind was born on February 20, 1993 in Jackson, Mississippi to Jennifer Neyland Lind and James “Marty” Lind. Preston graduated from High School in 2011. He continued his education in California, where he attended The Dent King Training Institute. He later went on to work with his father at Autohouse.

Preston enjoyed spending time with friends and family, weight training with his cousin Taylor Thigpen, and anything that involved the outdoors, such as jeeping, boating, and motorcross. In his youth he had many accomplishments as a competitive motorcross racer and even became the National Super Mini Champion in 2007.

Preston is survived by his loving parents, Marty Lind of Jackson, Mississippi and Jennifer Lind of Madison, Mississippi, by his maternal grandparents, Munson and Diane Neyland, of Madison, Mississippi, his maternal great-grandmother, Frances Hederi of Jackson, Mississippi, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preston was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roger and Mary Grace Lind, and his brothers, Charles Tyler Lind and Conner Franklin Lind.
