Robert proudly served in the Army, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. His role as a wireman was marked by his commitment and skill. He later retired from the State of Mississippi.
He was married to Pam Luttrell, who survives him. Robert is also survived by his brother, Jimmy Luttrell. He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Dilmore, and his parents, Robert L. Luttrell and Myrtle Spangler Luttrell.
A visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Home, located at 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, MS, 39157, on February 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Robert will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Park. His life and service to the nation will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
