

Sandra “Sandee” Lee Wilkins, 64, beloved Wife, Mother, and Business Woman died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 12, 2013. Visitation will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Madison, Mississippi from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15 at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will be at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
Mrs. Wilkins was born October 24, 1949 in Eminence, Kentucky to Louise and Nolan Lynch. She was the youngest of four sisters. She married the love of her life, Raymond B. Wilkins, on June 17, 1977 in Eminence, Kentucky.
In 1979, she moved with her family to Rockton, Illinois and subsequently in 1987, they moved to the Jackson area where she lived with her family until her death. In 1988, she joined Valley Services, Inc. in the Human Resources Department which initiated a career in which she rose to the position of Senior Director of Employee relations. She served Valley as a loyal and passionate employee in a career that spanned 25 years.
She and her husband, Ray, traveled extensively and she was at home on a sunny beach with her husband, or entire family. Holiday gatherings were very important to her and she loved preparing her special dishes at Thanksgiving and Christmas for her family.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, sisters Joyce Johnson and Lola Gilbert. She is survived by her husband, Raymond B. Wilkins, her Children, Cynthia Mayse, Alissa Joy Putman (Tim), Brandon Wilkins (Michelle), and two grandchildren, Meagan Hoffman and Austin Wilkins.
The family wishes to express its thanks and gratitude to the staff and nurses of Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland for their care and support which allowed Sandee, according to her wishes, to pass away peacefully at the home she built and loved.
