Thomas "Tommy" Joseph Klauder

Tommy had several names, Pappa T to his family and grandchildren. Tom-Tom to his coworkers, TK to his golf buddies, and T to others. He lived life to the fullest, always busy.

He was First Assistant in Heart Surgery at St. Dominic's Hospital for 48 years. He recently retired, in March 2024, and had spent his time since enjoying his first passion, Golf! Over the years he had numerous hobbies. Motorcycling on his Goldwing over the country, hunting, single action shooting (cowboy style-sass) as well as participating in archery competitions. Tommy was also a general "fixer" of broken things.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Klauder and Ann Jones Klauder. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Klauder; son, Robert (Victoria) Klauder of Santa Rosa Beach, FL.; daughters Amanda (Heath) Robinson of Canton, MS, and Alyssha Jeter also of Canton, MS; as well as 5 grandchildren, Trenton, Leland, Clara, Christian, and Charlotte.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

A visitation for Tommy will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Grace Crossing Baptist Church, 598 Yandell Rd, Canton, MS 39046, followed by a memorial service at 3:30 PM.
