

Tiny Belle Anthony, long-time resident of Brandon, MS and wife of well-known businessman Bob M. Anthony (deceased) passed away peacefully on the morning of February 2, 2016. She is survived by her children, Rhett Anthony, Gregory and Odulia Anthony, Cynthia and Douglas Schroeder and Rebecca, as well as her grandchildren, Matt, Bobby, Philip, Laura, Christine, Sarah and Gabrielle.
Tiny Belle was born March 3, 1930 in Seminary, MS. She excelled academically at Seminary High School and went on to major in Education. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Millsaps College and a Master’s degree from Mississippi State University.
She and Bob were married in June 1951 and were blessed with 54 happy, prosperous years together until Bob’s death in 2006. Tiny Belle and Bob took extended tours of the Holy Land, Egypt and Europe.
Tiny Belle taught elementary school in Vicksburg, Ware and Jackson before becoming an academic counselor at Callaway High School for 25 years, encouraging students to set high goals and work hard.
She was an active member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church and had a profound commitment to studying, teaching and following God’s word.
Tiny Belle will be remembered with gratitude, joy and deepest love.

Visitation will be Thursday, 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Friday, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home (Ridgeland). Funeral service will begin Friday at 2:00 p.m. (Parkway).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lakeside Presbyterian Church, P.O.Box 5007, Brandon,MS 39047, for its missions outreach.
