Von Nelle Black

Von Nelle was a graduate of Blue Mt. College, Blue Mt. MS., George Peabody College, Nashville TN, and Julliard School of Music, NYC. She taught in the fields of Music, Elementary and High School English in Mississippi and Florida. Before retiring, she was Elementary Music Supervisor for Public Schools of Orange County, FL.

Von Nelle was married to the late Dr. Edward A. McLellan who lost his life in a plane crash while serving as a naval officer in WWII. Later, she married the late W. Guy Black, owner of W. Guy Black home for funerals, Orlando, FL.

There will be a graveside service at Mount Olive Cemetery in Mount Olive, MS at 2PM on Saturday, March 1, 2014 for family members.
