He spent most of his childhood in Grenada before moving to Jackson. After graduating from Callaway High School, he attended Mississippi State. After graduating he began a career in insurance before moving to sales, while helping to raise his family in Madison. He enjoyed listening to and collecting music as well as watching sports. His faith in God and the saving grace of Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of the loving husband, father, brother and friend he was.
He is survived by his wife, Delynn, two sons, Jonathan (Lauren) and Blake (Lorin), two sisters, Susan and Tracy (Michael), and three grandchildren, Finn, Scarlett, and Grayson.
A visitation for William will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Madison Heights Church PCA, 415 Bozeman Rd, Madison, MS 39110, with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Following the funeral service a graveside service will occur at Grace Cemetery at Madison Heights Church PCA, 415 Bozeman Rd, Madison, MS 39110.
