Hazel Beale Church

1923 to the late Robert Lee Beale and Eula Austin Beale. She was a graduate of Rockingham Community College where she studied nursing; she received her diploma

in nursing, from the Danville School of Nursing. She also was a Post Graduate of Duke University Hospital. Hazel was retired after more than twenty eights years of

nursing with Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry Co.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Church, most recently in September, be her daughter, DeLavander Mayer, one sister, Gloria

Bruster and a grandchild, Matthew Porter.

Surviving are her sons, Jentry Edward Church and Robert Church both of Ridgeway, one sister, Ruth Haynes of Martinsville and five grandchildren and six great

grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010, in the chapel of Community Funeral Service of Ridgeway, with Reverend Leonard Hall officiating.

Interment will follow in the Beal Family Cemetery in Ridgeway. The family will receive friends 6-7p.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 in the chapel of Community Funeral

Service and other times at the home.
