Lillian Hundley Hale

Lillian Hundley Moore Hale. 78, Collinsville, died Thursday, December 18, 2014, Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was born in Roanoke on August 29, 1936 to the late Joseph Edward Hundley and Lydia Breeden Hundley. She was retired from Dairy Queen and was a member of the Mayo Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, John E. Moore and her second husband, Ralph W. Hale, one son, Robert Neal Moore and two brothers, William A. Hundley and Joseph D. McCraw.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law; Angela M. Suttles and husband Donnie of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, one daughter-in-law; Brenda Moore of Martinsville two sisters, Bea Saunders of Wirtz and Mary Swope of Pennsylvania, her best friend of more than forty years Margaret Hall and Walter and Florence Campbell, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Celebration of Life Service which will be held 12:00 Noon, Monday, December 22, 2014 in the Community Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Curt Ashley officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 P.M. in the New Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadows of Dan.
