She was born March 2, 1972 in Martinsville, VA to Rudy Allen Montrief and Cynthia Gleason Montrief.
She is survived by her daughter, Tabatha Rogers of the home, parents, Rudy Allen Montrief and Cynthia Gleason Montrief both of Martinsville, brother, Christopher Montrief of Ridgeway, and maternal grandmother, Gladys Arrington of Martinsville.
The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Community Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Ricky Bates officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.
