Peggie Wells Wagoner

Peggie Wells Wagoner, 74, of Calhoun, GA., formerly of Critz, died Wednesday May 6, 2015. She was born in Critz, on March 19, 1941, to the late James E. Spencer and Artie Craig Spencer. She was retired after fifteen years with Tultex. Peggie was a member of the Old Time Baptist Church of Draper, NC.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by both of her husbands; the father of her three children, William P. Wells and her second husband, George Wagoner, one sister, Shirley Crews and three brothers, John Henry, Clinton and Jim Spencer.

Surviving are one daughter, Pattie W. Buckner of Calhoun, Georgia, two sons, William Junior “Bill” Wells of Fayetteville, NC, and James William “Willie” Wells of Collinsville, two sisters, Alice Earles and Linda Roberts both of Stuart, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the Celebration of Life Services which will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the Old Time Baptist Church in Draper with Pastor Paul Grover officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.
