Velvet Scott Bowman

Velvet Scott Bowman, 66 of 917 Vine St., Martinsville, died friday August 31, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville.

She was born in Martinsville on November 3, 1945, to Thomas Nathan Scott and Sadie Amos Scott.hey preceded her in death. She was a housewife and life long member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Sandy Ridge, N.C.

Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Clyde Bowman of the home, and three sisters, Peggy Santuk of Collinsville, Nancy Rorrer of Stuart and Lula Belle Boyd of Martinsville.

The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Sands and Randy Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Sandy Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The Family will recieve friends at the church one hour before the service and at other times at the home. Community funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were, Terry Bowman, Ricky Scott, Randolph Scott, Edward Santuk, Sammy Rorrer, John Lawson. Community Funeral Services were in charge of arrangements.
