William Jewell Meadors

Martinsville. He was born in Bedford on July 7, 1931 to the late Claude Swanson Meadors and Mamie Claudine Daniels

Meadors. He was a self-employed painter for most of his life.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dora Mae Pack and Mamie Dalton and one brother, Homer

Lee Meadors.

Surviving are his wife, Delina Dale Compton Meadows of the home, two daughters, Clarice Deskins of Penhook and Linda

Davis of Bassett, two sons, Kenneth Meadows and Donnie Meadows both of Martinsville, one brother, Bobby Meadors of

Martinsville nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in the chapel of Community Funeral Service of

Ridgeway with Rev. Ronald Deskins officiating; interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends

one hour prior to services in the Community Funeral Service Chapel of Ridgeway and other times at the home.
