Yesterday was your funeral and I can’t stop thinking about me not sharing any memories of us... I hope your not upset. I want you to know I thought about it, but just couldn’t. My feet felt heavy then suddenly my mind went blank. I love you Alan. I miss you so much ... I spent the last two years with you. I remember always talking about our future together. How we can’t wait to have kids... laughing about how we’d handle them and what we’d do if this were to happen. I remember you getting so happy when we went to your dads and your grandma said she’ll teach me how to bake pies. You loved it when I’d hang out with your family. Every time I was down and hard on myself you’d pick me up. I regret not sharing our memories baby... it’s just all so hard for me still. I miss you so freaking much . I can’t wait till it’s my turn and I get to see your beautiful face greeting me by the gates. I wish I can hold and talk to you one more time... I wish we can have our late night conversations while listening to music till 12 am. I wish we can go on our crazy adventures we’re Id think of something and you'd take me like us going to the beach out of no where. You taught me a lot Alan. I will never forget you and you will always have a place in my heart. You’re love for your mom, family, and pets  were out of this world. I’m so lucky to have met you. I love you baby. Alan, 
  I can’t believe I’m even writing this. It just doesn’t seem fair. Your light shined so bright in your short time here with us. I will forever be grateful of our time together whether it be hours of JROTC with our drill team, staff meetings, TAC team, or our long talks before and after school at the benches about anything and everything. I won’t forget our trail up Mt. Rubidoux and I’ll never forget your smile, or that contagious laugh of yours. You were a little brother to me and my cousin Adrianna, and a big brother to my sister Dianna in my absence.  You followed in my footsteps while in HS and it never occurred to me how much time we really spent together, as much as it hurts, it comforts me to know that you knew how much I loved you and I know how much you loved me. Friends like you are rare, and I pray you are at peace now. Love you kiddo. 

Unfortunately, I did not have the great honor of physically meeting your beloved one, but I feel as if though I met him through the stories of his truly amazing and kind mother, Sonya.  --Sonya would beam with pride and joy when she spoke of "her boys".  Thank you for sharing stories of your beautiful child, Alan.  I know there is absolutely nothing I can say or do to help ease your pain, but I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that during his lifetime, "HE WAS GREATLY LOVED BY YOU", and so many other caring individuals.  My deepest sympathies goes out to you and your family and friends as you struggle through these difficult times.  Please know that you and your loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear A-Dawg,
We met back in 2017 through a mutual friend of ours who we both didn’t really like but he still introduced us to each other. I found out that day that you were my neighbor for some years now and I had never said what’s up once. Since that day I knew you were a good guy and a funny individual. You always told me to let all of the negativity go and to not let anyone drag me down. You had big dreams, you’d always tell me that we’d be rich one day driving our own m3’s and going out flexing. Every time we hung out it was always an adventure whether it be staying up late at night, sneaking into places, or just being boys and yelling out our lungs to lil peep. I could be weird and goofy around you and you’d match my energy. We were brothers. I remember I got a tattoo once and you said you liked it so you ended up getting the exact same one too. We’d always have similar interests whether it being cars, music, working out, BBQ, and our favorite energy drink Bang. Whenever I was feeling down I’d call you and get your advice, you’d hear me out & tell me to stop overthinking and let it go and crack a joke. Alan brought me onto the company Mindful Movers a few months back when I lost my job. He put in a good word for me and I got hired a week later. We loved working together, every job we had was always A1, the clients loved us. We were called “the dream team” and each job that came up we were sent to accomplish together. There wasn’t a day that Alan and I had that wasn’t full of laughter. On the day before his passing I pulled up to his house and spoke to him briefly about work. He was in good spirits he told me he missed me and that he wanted to hang out soon. Despite us not working together as much he was still upbeat and didn’t let that bring him down. No matter what obstacles Alan went through he always found a way to remain positive and encouraging. I still can’t believe you’re gone. I miss you bud. You’re in peace now shooting hoops with Kobe. Love you bro.

Alan, I miss you so much. We grew up together, we took some of our very first steps on this earth together. You were like my big brother. Always checking up on me, asking if anyone’s giving me a hard time. You had the biggest heart. I know you’re still watching over us all. I miss all the good times we had when we were younger, playing games and hide and seek or swimming in the pool for hours on end. I’ll never forget how you lit up the room, making everyone constantly laugh all the time.  I love you so much❤️

There are no words to comfort your family. I don't know why you had to leave so soon. I am sorry I never took the opportunity to express how much you mean to us. You were so kind and so sweet, ready to lend a helping hand. Vivian asked me if you got your wings, and I pray that you did. In my heart I know that you will be watching over your brothers and bringing love, smiles  and spreading light to those that had the privilege of knowing you. You are deeply missed. May you find peace in God's arms. 

My dearest Owie. You were a light in my life that is irreplaceable. My heart hurts for you beyond words....  you are finally at peace and you will always have my heart!!🙏💔

I know Alan from High School. We never really connected much besides a quick conversation while waiting for class to start. But this truly breaks my heart. May you rest easy. May god watch over you and your family. We love you all Wiedeman Family. 

I was lucky enough to meet Alan at his time working with me at Castle. Despite the age difference he quickly became one of my favorite people working there. Ill never forget our long talks and him sharing his life experience with me despite us barely meeting. He was one of the few people I stayed in contact with after we both left that place. I'm absolutely heartbroken to hear he has left us on Earth but I know he's cracking some good jokes in heaven and waiting for us up there. My condolences to his close friends and family, I know he will be greatly missed.

Alan joined Mindful Movers last year. He was a charming and hard working young man. I hired him and he quickly learned the moving business. 
He gave excellent customer service and was a strong and thoughtful person.  He was always on time to work and was always happy to work long hours. We formed a bond, he was my little brother. I spent everyday with him and we worked our butts off together. I would give alan advice on life and how to stay clean. He was young and was dealing with alot of difficulties. I could count on him , he was promoted to a lead position due to his loyalty and his passion.  I would challenge him with improving himself daily and to think about life differently.  The morning I went to pick him up for work was a sad day. I called him, no response,  I text him , no response.  I was knocking on his door and no reply. This was not like alan, he always text me early and I tought him to say good morning to indicate he was up and ready. I was concerned.  Finding out that alan passed away made me break down. I am proud to call him a friend,  and he was a great employee of mine. This is a devastating loss for all of us. I shared so many stories with alan about my losses of my buddies and loved ones to drugs. He is at peace now. I think about him every day. I am so sad. He never got to meet my son, or to drive the new work truck. I will miss him terribly. He was my buddy,  he was my little bro. His name will forever make me smile and shed a tear. We love you bro.

We will forever feel the presence of Alan; the warmth and sincerity of his hugs and the Love that he extended to us all.  The Spirit of his Love will comfort us in our sorrow as we grieve.
His desire to be the best that he could be was a struggle for Alan but his strength and courage was beyond compare.
Alan lived in his own shadow because he alone set his goals and aspirations so high they were not humanly attainable.  Alan has been set free from the suffering and struggles this life and this world had placed upon him.
I believe that death is a reminder to those of us that have been left behind, life is not permanent.  God calls those (at what seems untimely) the ones that have touched, deeply, the hearts of others.
I am grateful for salvation through Jesus Christ.  A salvation that is not only in spite of our sins and carnal weaknesses but because of them.  Amen


Writing this isn’t easy for me at all.. January felt like our month. We’d always go to the Festival of Lights or downtown  and hang out all night... If I’m gonna be honest with you, I spent two years almost every day with Alan. I remember coming over everyday and he would just make me laugh non stop  to the point were  I couldn’t control it anymore. He had the most charming smile I’ve ever seen and was always being a goof ball playing jokes on me,  his mom and friends. He loved barbecuing and would always barbecue hamburgers for us when I’d get out of school and Boy was he good... He was very well aware that he was good at it too hahaha. He was always thoughtful and helped me out whenever I needed to cry or was struggling in life ... Not only was he thoughtful, but he was  motivating, adventurous, smart and hard working. He would come up with fun ideas like heading to the beach at night or always hiking up mountains. That boy was always doing something productive and I honestly  dont think I’ve ever met anyone as hard working as Alan. He would put his all into what he was doing and never gave up!  His strong love for lil peep and cars is something I’ll never forget.  I’m gonna miss getting startled by you jumping with excitement after seeing a GT pass by us while driving, or you singing your heart and soul out whenever peep came on:( You showed me so much . You taught me so much and you were my first love. The memories I have with you are one of a kind.  I’m glad Alan came into my life... I honestly don’t think I’ve ever met anyone as forgiving as him. He always had a big heart ... im gonna miss seeing that beautiful bright smile of his. 

About  ten years ago, Alan was in my sixth grade class.  As his teacher, Alan was very polite, hard worker, respectful, helpful, and nice young man.  He never whined and complained about class tasks and other students and never got in trouble.  Alan was one of my model student that year.   Rest In Peace, Alan.

I had the great opportunity to work with Alan. He was such a great person and a was a great character. My heart aches for his family and know he had made such a power impact on those who were around him. 

The picture says it all.... The heart you had was so big. I can’t begin to put into words the pain we all feel without you Alan.... the birthdays we shared, the vacations, the family hang out days, all of it... those moments will be treasured and never forgotten buddy. Love you forever. Be at peace love... till we see each other again... “your 2nd mom” ❤️

I’ll never forget standing out in the rain with you, just admiring life and being so thankful that we had each other. Miss you so much brother. Hope you’re having fun in paradise.

Alan was one of the most impactful people in my life. I love him and his family, who I consider my own. He taught me one of the greatest lessons, to always look for the best in people.
