Mamaw was the best great grandma a girl could ask for! I remember visiting her in California and going out on the glass floor boats to look at the fish. I remember her showing me how to making Barbie furniture out of canvas and how to make other things using canvas. I remember talking with her on the phone and ending the phone call with a bear hug and a “mmm mmm mmm!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!” I will really miss her witty sense of humor, her shared love of scrabble and word puzzles, and her love for “fancy” tea parties. 

I love you Mom but you are seeing the glory of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! I hope you are dancing and doing so many things you love but could no longer do. Your are free of that worn out body and the pain you endured.
There's so many memories I have of my Mom. The best is how great she was with my daughters. They feel she was the best grandma EVER! From tea parties, awesome doll house toys, having swimming pools, to just enjoying them being a kid again and being silly. They were always aware of her great love for them.
Mom and my brother Bob loved books and shared that love by reading the same books and talking about them.  Although she worked she made it to every ball game he had. She made sure he had his Levi jeans and white tee shirts that were the uniform of the day.
We had many good times and many times that were silly and she laughed until she cried. She was gifted at sewing . She taught me how to sew shared that love with me. She created patterns and adjusted the ones she bought when needed. She taught me about work ethics as she always worked when we were growing up. She kept a household going and made sure we had a good meal every day. Of course we went through adversities and she always came out victorious on the other end. 
She and Dennis (my husband) had competition of one upping each other cracking jokes. She enjoyed a good relationship with him.
Mom had a way of making people feeling included and part of the family. She could make people feel cared for. Mom was on facebook keeping in touch with family and friends. I've received responses about how much her comments, posts, and messages meant and will be greatly missed. It is so hard to know she's not going to be active on it anymore. 
She is already greatly missed and it is very painful for many of us.


Grandma is and was the best grandma in the whole world! She would pick my sister and I up often and we would always stop at Denny's for a bite to eat which usually included a chocolate malt! We got back to her place she always had cute pajamas ready for us. I always felt special with her. She loved to spend hours playing board games with us. She would pop fresh popcorn for us to eat. She would make us strawberry milk for us to drink out of her special Disney glasses. I loved the time she spent with us! She also made things for our Barbie dolls. Awesome Barbie wedding dresses! My favorite was the miniature dollhouse stuff she had displayed on a book shelf. She would have it decorated for Christmas and we got to play with it! She loved to sing to us ALL the time! My favorite was by Doris Day "Bushel and a peck." She gave the best hugs we called them bear hugs! She would wet her lips just before she kissed you to get you to go "oooooo" she loved that! She especially loved to laugh! She would call just to hear us laugh. I can't believe it but just before she got sick she finally figured out how to facetime through Facebook! I was so overly joyed! I could tell endless stories on how she spoiled us! I will miss her greatly but know she is in a better place! Perhaps she's spoiling the kids in Heaven!
