

Arma Lokelani Martin, 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones on Monday, December 25, 2017. She was born November 16, 1933 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Alvin and Julita Isaacs. She was number eight of ten children. Arma married the love of her life, Robert P. Martin, and together they had two daughters. Arma was a supportive wife, amazing mother, wonderful grandmother, and loved her family unconditionally. She retired from The Broadway Department store (aka May Company, aka Macy’s) after 20+ years. She is survived by her loving husband Robert, her two daughters Thalia (Kenny) Scott and Wendee (Kevin) Tippets, two sisters Shirley Medeiros and Faith Boyd, six grandchildren TK (Bethany) Scott, Travis (Katie) Scott, Taylor Scott, Austyn Tippets, Kelsi (Joshua) Mackay, Kasey Tippets, and her three great grandchildren Ellie Scott, Cooper Scott, and Liam Mackay. Arma was cherished by her family and was known for her loving and giving spirit, her appreciation for food, and her ability to make others feel right at home in her presence. Although she is gone her memory will live on in her family’s heart. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 181 W. Blaine Street, Riverside, CA at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the Riverside National Cemetery. There will be a viewing before these services on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Acheson and Graham Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA from 6 – 8:00 p.m. The Martin Ohana would like to extend their gratitude and love to all those who have reached out and offered their love and support.
