On Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the age of 62 in Eastvale, California, God called His servant-child home, from earthly labor unto eternal life. A true flower has been plucked from our midst, and she will be sorely missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a husband of 45 years, Alonzo Mitchell; one daughter, Monica Anderson; four brothers, Jimmy Ray (Leslie) Graves, Gary Bailey, David (Angie) Smith, and Keith Smith; one sister, Ruth Smith; five sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She will also be dearly missed by a host of co-workers at CorVel and the members of The New Beginning Fellowship Center (NBFC) and the Fountain Valley Alano Club (FVAC).
Barbara was preceded in death by her loving mother, Frances Bailey; father William H. Smith; grandmother, Virginia Bailey; and sister, Alisa Smith
A Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park at 11500 Arlington Avenue in Riverside, California 92505. The memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. and burial service at 1:30 p.m. Repast will follow burial.
