Mrs. Cecilia Borba da Costa, of Ontario, was born on October 15, 1924 and entered into eternal rest on Jan. 20, 2018. She was a life-long resident of Chino Valley. Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Joaquim "Jack", and her son, Jack. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Terri), Mario (Laurie) and Tony; daughter, Denise Jirava (Bill); 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Cecilia was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother as well as a devoted Catholic who was passionate about praying her Rosary several times a day. She was also heavily involved in the Portuguese community. Cecilia loved crocheting quilts for family and friends. She was an avid sports fan, especially enjoyed baseball.
