I met Chuck through my wife, Debra, who worked with Nora. After I met him he said I should come to his 'Cigar Night.' I said I didn't smoke cigars and I couldn't stand the taste of beer.
He said, "Do you like Coke? Do you like rum?"
I said, "Yeah."
"Well, I gotta whole rack of rum I gotta get rid of," says Chuck. "Show up, make me laugh and you're in. If I don't laugh, you're out!" (I THINK he was kidding. Nah, I'm pretty sure he was kidding.)
Thank goodness, he laughed. A laugh you'd never forget.

Chuck was one of a kind, unforgettable guy.  He was my lead investigator in the San Bernardino Investigations Office.  He organized the first Tri-State Early Fraud Detection Sweep. Chuck contacted San Bernardino Welfare Fraud Division  Investigation Leadership, Arizona Department of Economic Security and the Nevada Welfare Enforcement Division and secured commitments for a collaborative effort which identified many fraud schemes involving individuals collecting California Medi-Cal and Welfare benefits who were living in Arizona and Working at the Casinos in Laughlin Nevada.  The innovative TriState effort saved 10s of Millions of Dollars and was recognized Nationwide as a successful and cost savings tool in combating fraud. 
Chuck and I developed a friendship and I valued his opinions and Vice Versa.  He was a guy that I could always count on.
Chuck loved his family and was so proud of them.
He will be greatly missed but will never be forgotten. Chuck’s in Heaven smiling down on us. Someday we will all be reunited in Heaven🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

Chuck was Such a Fun Neighbor Growing Up Across from Us on Libby St. We had Great Times Playing Over at the Coneley's with Charles and Shaylin, we even went Camping a Couple times with Him with the Boyscouts. He was Always Funny and Had Such High Spirits. Especially on Christmas Mornings, he was more like a 6 year old and we were more like 50 year Old's, Yelling out the window "It's too Early, be quiet!" 🤣 I will Always Cherish All the Great Time's we had, Bike Ride to the Botanical Garden or just Hanging Out in the Play Room, Driving to the Riverside Plaza or Getting a Blizzard at Dairy Queen.  It was Always a Good Time Hanging with the Family in October too, Going to a Haunted House or Helping Shaylin make a Haunted House in His Garage, Truly a Fun Family to Grow Up Next too. Love you Chuck and Conley Family and I Truly Aspire to be a Loving,  Fun Great Dad and Man like you Sir. May God Bless you and thank you for your Kindness, Laughs and Great Big Heart. Love ya Buddy.

I remember the day I moved into the Conley house. I walked up the driveway carrying a bag of clothes and you stared at me for a minute before giving me the biggest hug and telling me “you’re home now”. Every day after that you never failed to make me feel like part of the family. In between all your dad jokes and witty sense of humor, you’d still take the time to remind me that you were happy I was here. I’ll forever be thankful to have had the time with you that I did. I miss you and love you, Pop. 

My Papal was such an inspiring man that I am so grateful to have had in my life since I was born. He always told me that I was going to do amazing things and encouraged me to be my best, and I plan to do just that in his honor. Thank you for being such an important part of my life, and I look forward to forever making you proud. I love you Papal. Love from your granddaughter, Kyra
