Woody will always have a place in my heart.  Wonderful man and friend.

Woody has been a friend since 1964...Good man... So sorry for your loss...

My brother and I did photos in 1974 to give to our mom for her birthday. 

Being 7 years apart in age we didn’t do a lot together as he graduated high school and went into the Navy when I was in Jr. High. But there were some Christmas’s and birthday parties for our kids where we got together. I also babysat Justin when he was a few months old. 

I wish we could have done more together as adults. 

My prayers are with his son Justin and wife Lucy and the family. 🙏❤️🙏

Woody was a dear friend. Wonderful man, made me laugh. Our Norte Vista football games won't be the same with him not there.
In my heart and mind I feel he is somewhere golfing and surfing.
I hope his family will find strength and peace in knowing how many loved Woody.  He will not be forgotten.

I have waited a,few days to write this as I've been devastated over this news. Woody and I go back 50+ years. We surfed together hung out together and had fun together. He was a great and humble person. As Terry said he always,wore a white t-shirt. Qe started that trend back in are surf days,we would only wear penny town craft t-shirts. And Pendleton and St Christopher medals. I remember it like it was,yesterday.. I remember once I told him my daughter had a nabor from Riverside that was in a,wheel chair. He really likes reading the press enterprise so Woody saved all the papers he got and gave them to me to give to him after the novi games. Thats the kind of man he was. These are not the golden years as promised.. we are loosing to many of are friends. When I picture Woody I see a gallon jug full if his drink of the day. He he. He will be missed by all for sure.

Well Woody as my catcher at Novi, you certainly had your hands full. When I finally join you we can play ball forever. Gone too soon but will not be forgotten.

Woody was a member of the Norte Vista 2nd place CIF baseball team in 1964. He was a great teamate and 60 years later was a regular at our Novi lunches and Novi football games. Notice the white t-shirt Woods is wearing. He always wore a white t-shirt!! It was how you looked for Woody at the games. Also notice the smile. That was Woody! He was a good man and we will miss him greatly.
