Christina went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Christina is survived by her husband Don; her children, Caleb, Michaela, Megan, and Jennifer; her sisters, Dolores and Anna; her step children and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Esther Vargas; brothers, Jesus and John Vargas; and sister, Frances Martinez.
Christina was born on October 10th, 1962 in Fontana, CA. She was the daughter of John and Esther Vargas, and the youngest of 6. She was a member of the Blue Star Regiment of JW North High School for 4 years and played the saxophone, which she was very proud of. She was a talented baker at Stater Bros for 30 years. She loved going to baseball games and watching sports on television, volunteering for her Vietnam Veterans, her trips to Disneyland, and doing anything for her kids. Anyone who knew Christina knew how caring and selfless she was. She was a beautiful soul taken too soon. She will be greatly missed.
